Joanne “Jo” Robb

Joanne “Jo” Genevieve Robb of Duluth, MN passed on from this world on Monday, July 13, 2020 where she lived happily with Ron, her beloved husband of 62 years.
Jo was born on March 23, 1934 to parents Jennie (Theien) and Gideon Ahlberg and raised in Bennett, WI with her four siblings. After proudly graduating from St. Croix High School, Jo moved to Denver, CO by way of Duluth, MN where she became a successful type-setter in the printing business and was one of the first, and only female foreman at the helm of the industry. While in Denver, Jo met Ronald “Ron” Robb who, on their first date knew that she was “the one”. Jo and Ron were married on April 5, 1958.
Jo’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who love her best: her husband, Ron Robb of Duluth, son Randolph Robb of St. Cloud, sister Deborah (David) Headd of Cape Coral, Florida, grandsons, Nathan (Brittany) Robb of Duluth and Zachary Robb of Minneapolis, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many wonderful friends. Jo was preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law Annabelle Robb, brother John Ahlberg, sister Carol Ahlberg and sister Eileen Garay. Jo and Ron’s beloved son, Tracy Lee Robb, also preceded his mother in death.
To know Jo was to love her. Her beauty inside and out, her humble kindness, and her infinite love for her family will forever be unparalleled. Friends and family will be invited to gather joyfully in celebration of her life, one truly well-lived, when the risk of exposure to COVID-19 has eased.
