Frank Carmen Puglisi
Frank Carmen Puglisi, 89, passed away on November 14, 2020, in Orlando, Florida. He was born on July 1, 1931 in Duluth, Minnesota to the late Fortunato and Gertrude Puglisi.
After graduating from Denfeld High School in 1950, Frank went to work for Coolerator, then the Northern Pacific railroad and eventually the United States Postal Service, which he retired from. He also proudly served in the National Guard.
Frank had a knack for real estate investments and beating everyone in the family in card games. Even his grandchildren, who he continually professed were “perfect,” and “could do no wrong,” were the victims of Frank’s skills as a card player. Beating Grandpa at Hearts was the family equivalent to winning the lottery. Frank passed onto his family a deep belief and love of God, the value of hard work and a dollar, and numerous happy memories. Above all else, however, Frank loved his wife of 65 years. Even with advanced dementia, he remembered his wife and smiled when he saw her.
He is predeceased by his parents and brother, William Puglisi.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 65 years, Oral Ann Puglisi; sons, Fred Puglisi and wife Laurie, Rick Puglisi and wife Yuko, Daniel Puglisi and wife Angela; brother, Kenneth Puglisi and wife Ann; eight grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and friends.
