Donald Leroy Freeman

of Hermantown passed away with family by his side on Jan. 5, 2021. He was born on June 2, 1936, Duluth, MN to Henry Freeman and Fannie (Neiminen) Freeman. He was a Cement Finisher for the Local 633 for over fifty years. He loved fishing, hunting, golf & playing card games. He loved his Vikings and Twins. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grand Father and Great Grand Father. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers and four sisters, & surviving sister Carol Carlson. He will be sadly missed by his wife Betty Freeman, and children Jeff (April), Renee Phillips, Randy (Lesa), Wendy Adams (Sean) & step daughter Kathryn Carlson (Larry), and his grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley (Russ), Brock (Emily), Becky, Richie, Abigail, Samantha and Cody. & Great-Grand Children, Destiny, Serenity, Connor, Charlotte, Nevaeh and Tyliegh. A Special Thanks to Hospice Team, Nurse, Steve Volkman and Social worker Christian Mitchell and Pastor Craig Carlson. Celebration of Life will be announced later this Spring.
