She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, brother James W. Selen, infant son David, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew and in-laws. The family thanks the exceptional staff at Interfaith Care Center for excellent, loving care, as well as the outstanding care of the physicians and staff at Raiter Clinic/Community Memorial Hospital of Cloquet and St. Mary’s Essentia Health of Duluth. The family also greatly appreciates the devoted ministry of Reverend Joe Piette of Trinity Episcopal Church and Deacon Jon Skansgaard. A memorial service will be held in Spring, 2022. Arrangements are by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service serving northern Minnesota. Memorials are preferred to Interfaith Care Center or Trinity Episcopal Church.
