ELY, Minn. - Caroline Marie “Big Ma” Anderson, Ely, Minn., died Thursday, Oct. 3, in Boundary Waters Care Center.

A wake will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Kerntz Funeral Home in Ely. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 11, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Ely. Pastor Eric Thiele will officiate. A private burial will be in Ely Cemetery.
