Beverly Nelson

Beverly Rae Nelson, age 72, of Hinckley, MN formerly of Duluth, MN lost her battle with lung cancer, Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at her home.

She was born in Superior, WI to John and Mae Madson on April 15, 1948.

Beverly had a heart of gold and always put others first. She owned and operated Grindstone Greenhouse in Hinckley, MN. She was a master gardener and people would come long and far for her flowers and expertise. She spent many hours country line dancing where she developed life long friends. Beverly’s favorite days were spent with family, loving the outdoors, and lake life. Her grandkids were her world.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Donna, Rosemary, and Judy.

Beverly is survived by her two children, Ginny (Tom), Darrin (Jodi); grandchildren, Josh, Carlee, McKenzie, Kaden; sisters, Betty, Patsy (Dan); brother, Jack (Jean); brother in law, Allen; former husband, LeRoy; nieces treated as her own, Heather, Kim; as well as many other family members and friends.

As per Beverly’s request a Celebration of Life will be held at a future date, time to be determined.
