Roxann (Terway) Nedesky
Roxann Marie (Terwey) Nedesky was born on July 11, 1939, in St. Rose, Minnesota, to Joseph and Laura Terwey. She passed away on June 3, 2017, at her home in Mapleton, Utah, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.
Roxie graduated from Morgan Park High School. She married her sweetheart Joseph Roger Nedesky on October 10, 1959, and had four children, Renee Tuckett (Paul), Jean Bishop (Bruce), David (Coy) and Laura Grace (Bryan).
In 1972, Joe and Roxie moved from Duluth, Minnesota, to Mapleton, Utah. Roxie loved her husband and family more than anything. She loved being a homemaker and babies. Roxie had the magic touch to calm crying babies. She was kind and giving, always helping others. She made beautiful quilts, crocheted and knit everything you can imagine and made the tastiest home bread. Her children and grandchildren could always count on a homemade cookie when they came to visit.
Roxie is survived by her husband, children, 11 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and sister, Bonnie Galeski (Florida). She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margie Dalbec; and brother, Dwayne Terwey. Roxie asked to be cremated so her and Joe could be together when he goes.
The rosary and funeral will be held at St. Francis Church, 100 E. 500 N., Orem, Utah, on Thursday, June 8, 2017.
