Carolee Oberstar of Hibbing and Lorin Hagen of Keewatin plan to be married Aug. 1 in Nashwauk Lutheran Church.
Her parents are Steve and Michele Oberstar of Hibbing. His parents are Thomas Hagen of Keewatin and Tammie Beckman of Paris, Texas.
The future bride, a 1993 graduate of Hibbing High School, graduated in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Bemidji State University, where she is pursuing her master's degree in special education. She is a direct care specialist for NHS- Northstar Specialized Services in Chisholm.
The future groom, a 2002 graduate of Hibbing High School, is a residential program instructor for Range Center- Logan Home in Buhl.
