If you need new or gently used alpine ski or snowboard gear at a discounted price, or you want to sell some gear you no longer need, here’s your chance: The 50th annual Team Duluth alpine ski team gear swap will be held Oct. 29-31 in the Bear Paw (upper) Chalet at Spirit Mountain in Duluth.

The event annually draws hundreds of buyers and sellers and is the largest fundraiser of the year for the region’s largest ski and snowboard youth development team. All types of alpine ski and snowboard equipment, gear and outerwear — racing and recreational — are eligible for this event, with Team Duluth taking a cut to raise money.

In addition to used gear, several Northland ski and board shops will have discounted new equipment on sale, along with experts to answer questions. There’s a 3% fee on credit card transactions, but no sales tax is collected.

If you are selling, equipment drop-offs will be Oct. 27-28 from 5-8 p.m. Sale hours are 5-9 p.m. Oct. 29, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 30 and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 31.
