Shamrock Productions announced Wednesday it has canceled the 2021 Duluth Boat, Sports, Travel and RV Show and Northland Outdoors Deer Classic due to COVID-19.

With the disease spreading fast this autumn, setting new records in many areas, it’s highly unlikely state crowd restrictions will be relaxed by the usual February dates of the show held at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.

For many people, the annual boat show was a sign that spring would indeed come each year. And for many people, the 2020 boat show was about the last big event the public attended in a crowd. Shamrock has also canceled the annual ice fishing show held in December at the DECC.

The 2022 boat show is already scheduled for Feb. 17-20.
