Three more COVID-19 cases reported in St. Louis County; no new deaths

One more case reported in Carlton County.

Three more cases of coronavirus were confirmed in St. Louis County on Saturday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 37, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.

No new deaths were reported Saturday, leaving the total at four.

One more confirmed case of COVID-19 has been reported in Carlton County, bringing the total to 19. Itasca County has two total cases; its most recent confirmed case was reported April 1. Koochiching County has one case; Cook and Lake counties have no confirmed cases.

Statewide, 1,427 people have tested positive and 793 of them no longer need to be isolated. On Saturday, 145 people were hospitalized and 69 of them were in an intensive care unit.

The Health Department reported seven more deaths in Minnesota, bringing the total to 64.
