DULUTH — Nearly all phone numbers for St. Luke's main hospital campus and Hillside Center have not been working, St. Luke's announced in a news release. The health care system said the issue is due to problems with underground phone lines. The issues have been happening for at least two days.
Immediate adjustments were made so the Emergency Department can be reached at its main line, 218-249-5616, and the main campus is available at 218-249-5555. Anyone trying to call a specific department is asked to call the main hospital campus and enter the last four digits of the clinic or department as an extension. If the extension is unknown, consult the operator.
Its incoming and outgoing fax lines are also not working.
St. Luke’s is working with the phone company to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
