The Minnesota Department of Health reported one new case of COVID-19 in St. Louis County on Wednesday.
Another case was recorded in Itasca County as well. In total, the health department reported 304 new cases in Minnesota and the completion of 9,547 more diagnostic tests.
Five more Minnesotans have died with COVID-19. None of them were residents of Northeastern Minnesota.
The number of people in an intensive care unit rose by two to 160. The number of people with COVID-19 hospitalized outside of an ICU setting dropped by one to 180.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 432 new cases on Wednesday, nearly 200 more than the previous day, and seven more deaths. None of the new cases or deaths were recorded in Northwestern Wisconsin. The last time a case was reported in Douglas County was June 6.
