One new COVID-19 case reported in Itasca County

Numbers as of Sunday, June 14.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported one new case of COVID-19 in Itasca County on Sunday.

Of the 311 new cases reported, the Itasca County case was the only one recorded in a Northland county.

The state reported 15 more people have died due to COVID-19, and 11 of them were residents of a long-term care facility. None of those deaths were reported in the Northland.

The state reported the completion of another 9,658 diagnostic tests.

There were 186 people hospitalized in an intensive care unit as of Sunday and 183 hospitalized not in an ICU.

Of the 30,471 Minnesotans who have tested positive over the past few months, 26,090 no longer need to be isolated.

Of the 240 newly reported cases and one death reported by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on Sunday, none were in the northernmost Wisconsin counties.
