One new COVID-19 case each in St. Louis, Douglas counties

No new cases in Carlton County.

One more person has tested positive for COVID-19 in St. Louis County, bringing the number of cases confirmed through lab-based testing to 91 on Saturday.

No new cases have been reported in Carlton County, according to the Minnesota Department of Health's Saturday update.

One new case has been reported in Itasca County, where the total is now 25.

The Health Department reported eight new cases in Pine County, bringing the total to 69. At least 58 of those cases have been inmates at the Willow River correctional facility, according to the Minnesota Department of Corrections' Friday update, which also reported that 12 people no longer need to be isolated. Four staff have also tested positive.

No new cases have been reported in Lake County, which announced its first case Wednesday. The Health Department is not yet reporting any confirmed cases in Cook County.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported on Saturday one new case of COVID-19 in Douglas County, which has now had 11 cases confirmed through lab-based testing.

In Minnesota, 10,790 people have tested positive and 1,329 of them have been health care workers. Of the number of people who have tested positive, 6,322 of them no longer need to be isolated.

On Saturday, 476 people were hospitalized and 180 of them were in an intensive care unit.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported 24 more deaths in Minnesota, bringing the total to 558.
