Itasca County Health and Human Services has reported three new deaths related to COVID-19 in Itasca County.
Two were men in their 80s and the details of the other death were not yet available, said Kelly Chandler, division manager of public health for Itasca County, during a media call Friday.
A total of five COVID-19 related deaths have been reported in Itasca County, though only four were reflected Friday on the Minnesota Department of Health's website.
The Health Department is reporting one new case of COVID-19 in Itasca County, bringing the number of cases confirmed through lab-based testing to 42.
No new cases were reported in Carlton, St. Louis and Lake counties.

Of the 14,240 people who have tested positive in Minnesota over the last several weeks, 8,820 of them no longer need to be isolated, not including deaths.
On Friday, 498 people were hospitalized in Minnesota and 200 of them were in an intensive care unit.
The Health Department reported 20 more deaths in Minnesota, bringing the total to 683.
