St. Luke’s is now offering rapid antigen testing for COVID-19 to patients at its respiratory clinic in Hermantown and drive-thru garage in Duluth.
The rapid antigen testing offers same-day results. Patients who have had symptoms for five days or less can get the test at St. Luke's Respiratory Clinic, 4190 Loberg Ave., in Hermantown, according to a news release from St. Luke's. Those with a provider's order can get the test at the St. Luke's drive-thru garage, located at 915 E. First St., the former emergency department garage.
In addition to the rapid antigen testing, both sites offer COVID-19 saliva tests.
The drive-thru site does not require an appointment and is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The antigen testing is available to patients of all ages, including children. Patients can view their results on the St. Luke's Patient Portal the same day they receive the test.
The University of Wisconsin-Superior also offers COVID-19 rapid antigen testing. Any Minnesota or Wisconsin resident who is at least 5 years old can receive the test.
The UW-Superior testing site is open from 2-6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Register at doineedacovid19test.com.
