The Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa will offer community-wide COVID-19 testing Monday and Tuesday.
The testing is open to Fond du Lac Band community members and employees as well as patients and clients.
The testing event will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fond du Lac Ojibwe School gymnasium, 49 University Road, Cloquet, according to a news release from the Fond du Lac Band.
"FDL has seen positive COVID-19 cases spike in the last month. It is critical to see where FDL stands with this virus so proper measures can be taken to slow the spread," the release said. "Please wear a mask for our elders, our children and yourself. Be relentless against this virus, be respectful of others and model resilience through good prevention practices."
The Fond du Lac Band is partnering with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety's State Emergency Operations Center to offer the testing.
