Essentia Health has launched a new program for people suffering long-term effects of COVID-19, according to a news release from the health care provider.
It's called the Post COVID-19 Rehabilitation Program and is for patients recovering from the virus. It's offered at all Essentia locations.
The program is a mix of physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Patients range from people who were sick and recovered at home to those who were critically ill and hospitalized.
