COVID-19 daily numbers for the Northland

Another case of coronavirus was confirmed in St. Louis County on Tuesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 17, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.

Three more cases have been reported in Carlton County, bringing the total to 13. Itasca County has two total cases; its most recent confirmed case was reported April 1. Cook and Lake counties have no confirmed cases. No deaths have been reported in the Northland.

Statewide, 1,069 people have tested positive out of the 29,260 tests completed as of 4 p.m. Monday; 549 people no longer need to be isolated. On Tuesday, 120 people were hospitalized and 64 of them were in an intensive care unit.

The Health Department reported four more deaths in Minnesota, bringing the total to 34.
