The Minnesota Department of Health reported a few more cases of COVID-19 in the Northland on Tuesday, including two in Koochiching County and one more each in St. Louis and Itasca counties.
A death of a person in their 90s in St. Louis County was also attributed to the coronavirus. To date, 18 people in St. Louis County have now succumbed to the disease out of 332 cases reported.
Statewide, the health department reported 480 new cases and completed 18,081 new tests.
The health department reported four more deaths across the state.
As of Tuesday, 138 patients with COVID-19 were hospitalized in intensive care units in Minnesota. Another 156 people in the state were hospitalized due to COVID-19, but not in an ICU.

No new cases were reported in Northwestern Wisconsin counties according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, however the Douglas County Health department reported eight new cases in the county in a news release. There were 762 new positive cases reported statewide.
The state also reported 13 new deaths, none of which were in Northwestern counties. Statewide 73 more people were hospitalized for COVID-19.
