Two Douglas County residents and an Itasca County resident died of COVID-19, Minnesota and Wisconsin reported Wednesday. The Itasca County resident was between ages 75 and 79 and was one of eight COVID-19-related deaths in Minnesota reported Wednesday. The Minnesota Department of Health reported 150 new cases and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 106 new cases of COVID-19 and 11 deaths on Wednesday.

In the Northland's 10 counties, seven new cases of COVID-19 were reported.

In the Northland, 263 people received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine as of Wednesday's data and 774 people became fully vaccinated. Now, 54% of Northlanders have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 50% of the region's population is fully vaccinated.
