The 10 counties that make up the Northland reported 29 new cases Monday.

Minnesota reported 196 new cases of coronavirus and two COVID-19-related deaths statewide, according to the Minnesota Department of Health. Wisconsin reported 65 new cases and no new deaths, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

New cases and seven-day averages in Northland counties:

  • Aitkin — 1; 1.3.
  • Carlton — 5; 1.9.
  • Cook — 1; 0.1.
  • Itasca — 4; 3.9.
  • Koochiching — 2; 1.1.
  • Lake — 0; 0.6.
  • St. Louis — 7; 6.
  • Ashland — 0; 0.
  • Bayfield — 3; 0.4.
  • Douglas — 6; 1.4.

Wisconsin did not report COVID-19 related data over the weekend, so Monday's figures include amounts from June 5 and 6.

Another 317 people in the Northland receive first vaccine dose

  • Cook — 72%.
  • Itasca — 46%.

  • Douglas — 51%.
