A St. Louis County resident between ages 90 and 94 was one of nine COVID-19-related deaths reported in Minnesota on Friday morning. This is the 304th COVID-19-related death in the county since the pandemic began.

Across the Northland, 65 new positive cases were reported. Minnesota recorded 1,306 new positive cases Friday, while Wisconsin recorded 513 new cases and one death.

More than 200,000 Northlanders have now received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine. The Northland reported 673 more first doses were administered according to Friday data. Of the 200,000 with at least one dose, 180,248 people are fully vaccinated, an increase of 1,410 from the day before.
