No COVID-19 deaths were reported in the Northland Tuesday. There were 62 newly reported cases of COVID-19 in the region's seven Minnesota counties and 18 new cases in northwest Wisconsin's three Northland counties.

Across Minnesota, there were 998 new cases and 11 deaths reported Tuesday. Wisconsin logged 721 new positive cases and 11 deaths statewide.

There were 34 more first doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered in northern Minnesota on Sunday, according to data reported Tuesday. There are now 160,066 northern Minnesotans who have at least one COVID-19 vaccine shot, and 138,742 are fully vaccinated.

Wisconsin's three Northland counties logged 17 new first doses administered. So far, 35,664 Wisconsin residents in the region have gotten at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and 28,268 are fully vaccinated. About 42% of all Northlanders are now fully vaccinated.
