Four more Northland residents have died from COVID-19 and its complications as of Sunday.
Three were St. Louis County residents, according to the Minnesota Department of Health. One was in their late 70s while the other two were in their 90s. The county now has a death toll of 229.
Carlton County also lost one person in their late 70s, bringing the county's death toll to 41.
Another 132 people in the 10-county region have tested positive for COVID-19, the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin reported Sunday.
They were among 2,165 new cases and 44 deaths across Minnesota and 1,832 new cases in Wisconsin and two new deaths statewide.
