The Northland reported 27 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Monday.
St. Louis County reported a majority of the region's cases with 16. The county currently has 206 people with COVID-19 in isolation.
Four people in St. Louis County are hospitalized for the virus; half of those are located in intensive care unit settings.
As of Thursday, the county has completed 50,008 coronavirus tests. With 1,073 of these tests returning positive, the county's total positivity rate sits at 2.1%. For tests completed the week leading up to Sept. 10, the county's positivity rate is higher at 4.1%.
Carlton County reported two new cases on Monday, while Itasca County reported three new cases. Lake County reported one new case.
Statewide, three deaths due to COVID-19 were recorded in Hennepin, McLeod and Wright counties. All three deaths were people who lived in private residences.
An additional 643 new cases of COVID-19 were also confirmed statewide, bringing the total number of cases to 84,949 in Minnesota.
The state recorded 17,152 new diagnostic tests Monday.
There were 233 people hospitalized for coronavirus; 135 of those are located in ICU settings.
In Wisconsin, Douglas County reported four new confirmed cases. Bayfield County reported one new case.
