The Minnesota Department of Health reported one new case of COVID-19 in Itasca County on Saturday.
Statewide, 427 new cases were reported with only one in the Northland. Six more people have died with COVID-19, none of them residents of northeastern Minnesota.
The new cases were among 11,521 more completed diagnostic tests.
The number of Minnesotans with COVID-19 hospitalized in an intensive care unit has dropped by two to 155. The last time the number of ICU patients was that low was May 3. The number of people hospitalized outside of an ICU setting dropped by 33 to 145, the lowest that number has been since April 22.
Also on Saturday, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 539 new cases in the state. That's the highest number of new cases reported in a single day since May 30. The positive cases were among 8,555 newly completed diagnostic tests.
After reporting no new deaths on Friday, Wisconsin reported 11 new deaths Saturday.
None of the new cases or deaths were reported in Douglas, Ashland or Bayfield counties.
