Carlton County Public Health and Human Services has launched a hotline for residents with questions about the COVID-19 vaccine.
Residents can call 218-499-6312 with their questions about COVID-19 vaccine distribution and planning, according to a news release from Carlton County. Callers will receive a message sharing relevant and up-to-date information about vaccine rollout. After the recorded message, callers have the option to be directed to a live conversation.
The county's public health department is working with organizations that employ staff who are currently eligible to receive the vaccine under the state's 1a priority groups, as defined by the Minnesota Department of Health. The county is not collecting a waiting list of community members who want the vaccine.
Carlton County health officials are urging residents to take a five-minute anonymous survey asking people about their COVID-19 vaccine plans. The survey is intended to help the county plan and better meet the community's vaccine-related needs. To take the survey, visit covid19-carltoncounty.hub.arcgis.com .
