The Northland recorded eight more deaths from COVID-19 on Sunday — four in St. Louis County and one each in Aitkin, Bayfield, Carlton and Koochiching counties.
Two of the St. Louis County victims were between the ages of 70 and 74; one was between 80 and 84, and another was between 85 and 89, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.
The Carlton County resident was between 90 and 94; in Aitkin County the person who died was between 75 and 79; and the Koochiching County victim was between 70 and 74.
Wisconsin does not report the ages for each death.
Twenty-nine Aitkin County residents, 12 Bayfield County residents, 16 Carlton County residents, six Koochiching County residents and 112 St. Louis County residents have now lost their lives to COVID-19.

St. Louis County recorded 315 more people who have tested positive for the coronavirus. The county's seven-day average of new cases is 217 new cases a day.

- Itasca — 49; 43.3.
- Koochiching — 7; 11
- Lake — 13; 14.
Wisconsin reported 22 new deaths from COVID-19 on Sunday. The state also reported that 3,831 more people have tested positive.
Meanwhile, Minnesota reported 57 deaths and 8,953 new cases Sunday.
