The Minnesota Department of Health reported four new cases of COVID-19 in St. Louis County on Monday.
The new cases bring the total number of confirmed cases in the county to 238. With no additional deaths reported Monday, the county's deaths due to COVID-19 remain at 16.
Itasca County reported a monthly high of five new cases, bringing its total number of cases to 76 cases. The state reports that 12 people have died in the county due to the virus.
Neither Carlton, Lake, Cook nor Aitkin counties reported new cases Monday.
The state reported two new deaths Monday, neither of which were located in the Northland.

The health department listed 499 newly reported cases statewide. The state also reported 247 were hospitalized as of Monday due to the virus, 114 of which were hospitalized in an intensive care unit.
Douglas and Bayfield counties each reported one new COVID-19 case Monday, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, leaving the counties' totals at seven and 61, respectively.
Statewide in Wisconsin, there were 36,942 positive cases of the coronavirus, an increase of 494 from the day before. Of the tests reported Monday, 7.5% were positive.
