Work is scheduled to continue next week on the two-year project on Woodland Avenue and Calvary Road in Duluth, according to a news release from St. Louis County’s public works department.
Concrete sidewalks and sod will be placed on Woodland Avenue. There will be no road closures for that work, but there might be traffic delays.
Calvary Road will be closed from Woodland Avenue to just west of North Shore Bank starting May 11. The closure is expected to last until mid-June. Access to Denny’s Ace Hardware and the bank will be allowed via a temporary access road from Woodland Avenue.
In early June, work is expected to begin on Calvary Road between North Shore Bank and Arnold Road and later this summer will move to the area between Arnold Road and Howard Gnesen Road.
