A woman was found dead in Virginia earlier this week, but Virginia police say there were no signs of foul play.

Virginia Police Chief Nicole Mattson said a man walking in the area east of Railroad Street reported finding the body of a woman just before 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Police responded and found the body of a 38-year-old woman, and requested the medical examiner come to the scene.

Virginia police are awaiting autopsy results and notifying the next of kin before releasing the woman’s name, Mattson said.
