One person was killed and three injured in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 2 at Railroad Avenue in Proctor this morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the woman who was killed was a passenger in an eastbound minivan that lost control when it hydroplaned on water on the road. It crossed into the westbound lane and was struck broadside by a Chevrolet wagon. The accident happened shortly before 10:30 a.m.
According to the State Patrol, it didn't appear that the other three victims suffered life-threatening injures. The names of all the victims will be released Friday morning.
