An 89-year-old passenger in a car traveling westbound on Wisconsin Highway 70 near Park Falls has died in a Duluth hospital.
The woman, who has not been identified, was pinned in the vehicle and suffered severe injuries. She was taken by helicopter to St. Luke's hospital, where she died. The driver of the car also was taken to St. Luke's but their condition was not made available by the Price County Sheriff's Department.
The accident was reported just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
