A Winter, Wis., man was killed in a one-vehicle rollover over the weekend.
Joseph Burt, 31, was driving a truck east on Wisconsin Highway 70 near Bumblebee Road in the town of Winter on Friday night when he drove onto the eastbound shoulder, according to the Sawyer County Sheriff's Department. He overcorrected, crossed over High 70 and into the ditch, where the truck rolled and hit a tree. Burt, who was alone in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash was reported at 12:05 a.m. Saturday. It is under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.
