International Winter Bike to Work Day will be celebrated in Duluth this Friday.
Riders are invited to grab their bikes and meet at the Rose Garden parking lot at 7:30 a.m. Friday for a group ride to Minnesota Power Plaza.
There, the Duluth-Superior Metropolitan Interstate Council will set up a warming station, featuring snacks, warm drinks and other swag. It will be open from 6:30-8:30 a.m.
The event aims to normalize and encourage winter biking. Pledge to ride and check out a global map of riders participating in the event at winterbiketoworkday.org .
