A number of smashed vehicle windows were reported earlier this week in Superior. They included incidents along East Fifth and East Third streets, and Hammond and Grand avenues, according to police logs.
The picture window of a home on the 2600 block of John Avenue also was shot out with what the reporting party said was a BB gun.
A total of 14 damage to property or vandalism incidents were reported Tuesday morning in the city, though Superior Assistant Police Chief Matt Markon said Tuesday morning he didn’t have a full tally of the number of cars affected.
“We always want the public to call 911 right away if they see something suspicious and be able to describe what they saw or heard,” he said.
