Wind chill readings could dip to 35 degrees below zero across northeastern Minnesota tonight, prompting the National Weather Service in Duluth to issue a wind chill advisory through Thursday morning.
Lake effect snow will develop along the South Shore of Lake Superior which will combine with the winds to create hazardous driving conditions along U.S. Highway 2 from Superior to Deer River, the weather service said.
In Duluth, scattered snow showers are expected to end around noon, which will give way to a low temperature of around 5 below tonight.
