Smoke from wildfires burning in northern Manitoba and Ontario drifted across parts of the Northland over the weekend and may continue to do so this week, the National Weather Service in Duluth reported Sunday.
The Weather Service reported that northerly winds aloft brought the smoke across the Canadian border and into the region, creating hazy conditions at times. Similar conditions are possible over the next few days.
