On Monday, the Minnesota Wild annnounced its 10,000 Rinks Radio Network.
The network will broadcast all 82 of the Wild's regular season games and eight preseason games.
In the Duluth area, Up North hockey fans will again be able turn the dial to 610-KDAL to catch all of the National Hockey League action, just as they did when the station carried the Minnesota North Stars' games before the team's departure.
"We are very excited about it," said KDAL's Operations Manager Mark Fleischer.
"We were actually the first affiliate to sign aboard with the Wild. We thought it would be a great complement for Bulldog hockey and a perfect fit for the station."
This winter will mark the 40th year that KDAL will broadcast the UMD hockey games, which means that some Wild games on conflicting nights may be tape-delayed.
"We'll still carry all of the Bulldog games," said Fleischer. "The Bulldogs will have priority."
1320-KOZY in Grand Rapids will be the other Up North radio affiliate.
