A University of Minnesota Duluth expert tells you why some fish in lakes and streams have unsafe levels of mercury and others don’t in a Wednesday River Talk.
Nate Johnson wraps up a season of talks given by the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve and the Minnesota and Wisconsin Sea Grant programs about the St. Louis River Estuary. The talk on mercury research in the estuary is at 7 p.m. April 12 at Barkers Waterfront Grille, 300 Marina Drive in Superior.
