The West Duluth Business Club seeks ideas from the public for potential business incubation in West Duluth.

"West Duluth is a great place to grow a business, with easy access, low costs and a very supportive business community," says William McGiffert, a member of the club's board.

According to the National Business Incubation Association, the majority of incubators provide clients access to appropriate rental space and flexible leases, shared basic business services and equipment, technology support services and assistance in obtaining the financing necessary for company growth.

Some possible options for the West Duluth incubator may include space and support services for manufacturing enterprises, warehouse operations, commercial kitchens, arts and crafts studios, technology startups and research labs.

Incubator ideas can be sent to gowestduluth@gmail.com by July 1. Respondents should note if they are an entrepreneur or new business owner and include a phone number. Club members will follow up with interested parties in July. For more information, contact McGiffert at gowestduluth@gmail.com or (218) 591-1645.
