One person was in police custody Tuesday night after an attempted robbery of a sandwich shop delivery driver in West Duluth, authorities said.
Duluth police were called to the 100 block of South 57th Avenue West at 8:28 p.m. on a report of an attempted robbery of a driver for Erbert and Gerbert's Sandwich Shop, according to Duluth Police information officer Jim Hansen.
Police apprehended a male suspect near Super One Foods a short time later. Hansen declined to say whether a weapon was involved but said no one was injured. Police are investigating.
