Wednesday's weather for the Duluth area: Fog early, then sun

We'll have some patchy fog in the morning, especially around the lake. Highs will be in the upper 60s over the hill, and as an east wind blows 5-10 mph, temperatures by the lake will be in the upper 50s. Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies throughout the day.

The east wind will turn more southerly and warm us up to 54 for a low and 73 as a high on Thursday with a few clouds.

A trough in the jet stream will swing over and give us a chance of a shower on Friday evening. Highs will reach 70 by the afternoon. The chance of rain Friday is about 30 percent and about 40 percent overnight into Saturday with lows at 58.

On Saturday, there's a 30 percent chance of rain with mostly cloudy skies, with the best chance of rain in the morning.
