TODAY: High pressure to our east will continue to bring nice fall-like weather to the Northland. Expect an east wind, especially by the lake at 5-10 mph with a high near 69.
THURSDAY: The wind will pick up out of the south and we could have gusts up to 25 mph. Lows will be around 50 and highs near 70 with partly cloudy skies.
FRIDAY: A trough in the jet stream is pushing eastward and will continue to bring a southerly flow and some moisture into the region. Expect mostly cloudy skies with morning lows near 56 and highs near 72 with a 30 percent chance of afternoon showers.
SATURDAY: Expect cloudy skies with lows near 52 and highs near 67 with a 60 percent chance of rain. Cooler air is filtering in behind the trough as a cold front moves in, cooling things down for Sunday.
