TODAY: Expect mostly cloudy skies and a 40 percent chance of showers and storms this afternoon. A low-pressure system in the Dakotas will swing a warm front over our region giving us the chance of storms. Highs will be in the upper 70s. Winds will be out of the south at 5-15 mph. Overnight the storms could become severe with hail, high winds and enough rotation to be on the lookout for a tornado or two. Chance of storms overnight is around 70 percent.
THURSDAY: Our temperatures are still warm because we're in the warm sector of the low-pressure system as it moves north into Ontario. We have the cold front pressing east with mostly cloudy skies and a 50 percent chance of storms, some of them strong. Lows will be near 60 and highs near 77.
FRIDAY: The cold front associated with the low-pressure system that brought the storms pushes by and cools us down. Lows are near 51 and highs are in the mid-60s with mostly sunny skies. High pressure filters in behind the cold front.
SATURDAY: High pressure sits to our south and keeps us mostly sunny. Lows are in the mid-40s and highs mid to upper 60s.
