High pressure is in control as we start this Mother's Day weekend and will lead to a mostly sunny sky and mild temperatures. Highs today will climb into the mid- to upper-50s. Our high pressure moves out Sunday and as it moves off to the east, the wind will switch off of the lake for Mother's Day. Wind speeds on Sunday will increase out of the east/northeast at 10-20 mph and will cool areas near the lakeshore. Highs for Mother's Day will struggle to make it into the mid-40s. Temperatures recover back to near 50 Monday with 60s returning later in the week. Precipitation chances over the next several days will be limited.
