Expect a partly cloudy sky today with highs reaching into the lower 30s over the area. We'll experience similar temperatures tomorrow as well. An area of low pressure will approach the region on Thursday bringing a chance of wintry precipitation to the Duluth and surrounding area. Right now it appears this precipitation could come down as rain mixed with snow and then turn over to mainly snow showers later on Thursday and Thursday night. This low is then forecast to track across the Great Lakes which will lead to snow and wind in our area on Friday. Temperatures look to be cooler behind this low, but not bitter cold.
