High pressure erodes cloud cover from the west Friday morning then we lose its influence in the afternoon and evening with clouds returning from the west. Highs stay in low to mid-30s. West winds shift out of the south throughout the day. That south wind becomes breezy Saturday ahead of the system bringing precip chances. Precipitation type remains in question, but as of now, it looks to begin as rain from the south Saturday evening and mix with snow overnight before tapering off west to east early Sunday morning. The best chance for light snow accumulation is north of the Iron Range and along the South Shore east of the Bayfield Peninsula due to lake effect snow chances lingering Sunday. Sunday will be windy behind this system.

Sunday: Chance for light snow in the morning, then mostly cloudy and windy with snow chances lingering for parts of the South Shore. High 38. NW wind 15-25 mph.
